It was fine. Not bad, not amazing. I ate three slices and felt nothing. Maybe I’ve become immune to joy.

I cried a little when I finished the last slice. That garlic crust? A love letter to my taste buds.

This pizza was a spiritual experience. The crust was crisp, the cheese was melty, and I briefly considered naming my firstborn ‘Pepperoni.

Great flavor, solid bake. The sauce had a nice tang, though the delivery guy judged me for ordering two larges. Worth it.

I folded it like a true New Yorker and pretended I had my life together.
